- Call for Entries: Opens June 20 to September 20, 2011.
- The Show: Happens November 12, 2011, Saturday
- Eligibility of Design Piece: An entry must have been created from August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2011.
Who can join PGDA 2011?
All graphic designers with a Filipino citizenship, who may be:
- Employed in an agency;
- Employed as an in-house designer;
- Working as a freelance designer;
- A student currently enrolled in a college or a university;
- A student at the time when the entry was produced.
How do I know if my work is eligible?
- All elements in PGDA’s definition of graphic design—The art and discipline of combining symbols, design, and words to represent and communicate ideas or messages—must be represented in your work.
- The entry must have been created between August 1, 2010 and July 31, 2011.
- An entry must NOT be a localization, re-work, or adaptation of any international campaign or design thematic.

What are the PGDA 2011 Categories?
There are 13 categories that are open to both professional and student graphic designers. Enter as many works as you wish for:

How do I submit an entry?
All entries for PGDA 2011 must be submitted online via email. Here are some guidelines to completing your entry. Download the Rules for Entry now to review complete details.
- Download the Entry Form and its corresponding Submission Template specific to your category of choice.
- Fill up the Entry Form and Submission Templates digitally. No need to print.
- Scan a copy of your deposit or payment slip and paste it onto the relevant field in the Entry Form.
- Paste your artwork(s) onto the appropriate Submission Template, using a maximum resolution of 250 DPI.
- Include a maximum 50-word explanation of how your work has responded to the design objective in the Submission Template.
- If your work contains characters, words, or phrases that are in a foreign language, please provide a translation in Filipino or English for the judges’ appreciation.
- On the Submission Template, exclude any identifying marks that disclose the identity or affiliation of the entrant whether it be an individual or agency.
- Once completed, save your Entry Form and Submission Template in Adobe PDF format using a CMYK Color Profile under the prescribed file name.
- Scan any other required documents such as a consent letter from the client for professional entries or a proof of enrollment for student entries, where applicable.
- Submit your final entry including Entry Form, Submission Template, and required documents via email to submit@pgdawards.com, using the prescribed email subject.
- Make sure that the entry (including Entry Form, Submission Template, and required documents) does not exceed 10 MB. Also, ensure all digital files are in order prior to submission.
Is there an entry fee?
Yes, there are two entry fee levels.
- Fee for Professional Entries: PHP 1,500.00 per entry
- Fee for Student Entries: PHP 500.00 per entry
How do I pay?

How is an entry judged?
- An entry is screened for compliance to eligibility rules and entry requirements.
- To ensure fairness in the process, an entry viewed by the panel of judges shall contain no information or identifying marks that disclose or suggest the identity or affiliation of the entrant.
- A panel of creative industry professionals will be invited for a full-day judging process. They will select finalists and awardees based on the following criteria: Design, Creativity, and Execution. Their scores are endorsed to the Organizers and are tabulated electronically.
